What’s next for families who relied on Willby’s for their babies suffering with colic? The closure of Willby’s Wind & Colic it is a sad loss for all the long suffering Mums with colicky babies. Willby’s offered help, advice and empathy regarding colic and reflux provided by experts in their fields.
Now, where can Mums go to get that same level of advice and expertise? As a co-founder of Willby;’s I was devastated by its closure – for myself, the wonderful Willby’s team and the families that relied on the help and solutions that Willby’s offered.
It was a local family business looking after other families. I have worked to put all my knowledge into a space that mums can access 24/7 to find answers to all the questions that surround the unsettled behaviours related to colic.
Proactive Baby Care is also a family business dedicated to helping families negotiate the trying colic weeks.
Rather than trusting Dr Google who often provides conflicting advice, Proactive Baby Care has videos, frequently asked questions and answers plus access to baby experts in the realm of pharmacy, lactation, nutrition and sleep. Colic is a very common condition that is under researched and under resourced and yet causes such trauma for the mums and babies caught up in its painful grasp. The crying, wriggling, squirming, wakeful colic baby creates a fractured, exhausted household that seems to be permanently in crisis. Only those who have been there truly understand the heartbreak.
We aim to explain, guide and recommend a way forward – no platitudes – just solid constructive and knowledgeable advice. We understand how tired and energy depleted everyone has become and we just want to help you get back on track.
